Also attending the lesson was the Club’s official creator, Alessandro Patacchini, known as JPata, who helped raise awareness among the students by sharing the everyday actions he personally takes to reduce single-use plastic pollution in his own life.

The initiative represented an important educational moment, aiming to promote environmental awareness and encourage more sustainable behaviors among the younger generations.

OUR POWER, OUR PLANET
On the occasion of Earth Day, April 22, 2025, Hellas Verona launched an awareness campaign to highlight the environmental impact caused by the excessive use and improper disposal of plastic.

In the video, featuring Hellas Verona’s official creator JPata and the Gialloblù forward Casper Tengstedt, the focus is on the importance of everyday actions such as recycling, reducing plastic use, and adopting sustainable behaviors.

Corepla – the National Consortium for the Collection, Recycling, and Recovery of Plastic Packaging – also collaborated on the project, providing an eco-compactor as part of the RecoPet initiative, which aims to promote the collection and recycling of PET bottles.
