THE GIALLOBLÙ SHIRTS AUCTIONED ON MATCHWORNSHIRT IN SUPPORT OF PROTEZIONE DELLA GIOVANE
SERIE A 2021/22 | HELLAS VERONA-EMPOLI
On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, held on November 25, 2021, Hellas Verona organized a charity auction featuring the shirts worn by the 22 players called up for the Serie A match against Empoli.
The proceeds were donated to the association A.C.I.S.J.F. Protezione della Giovane – Associazione di Verona – OdV, in support of women who are victims of violence. Protezione della Giovane – Associazione di Verona was founded in the early 1980s to address social issues related to housing emergencies affecting women. Specifically, it offers shelter, emotional support, and both material and moral assistance to women in difficulty – those who are far from, estranged from, or without a family network. The facility currently has 50 beds, 40 of which are occupied by women and children admitted in emergency situations.
SERIE B WOMEN 2022/23 | HELLAS VERONA WOMEN-NAPOLI FEMMINILE
On the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on November 25, 2022, the Hellas Verona Foundation organized a day of sports and solidarity during the match between Hellas Verona Women and Napoli Women, with the goal of promoting the fight against violence toward women. The Foundation supported the initiative by donating the proceeds from the auction of the shirts worn by the players, which featured a special patch with the message ‘Kick Off Respect’, in favor of the Verona-based association A.C.I.S.J.F. Protezione della Giovane.
The event was attended by Anna Sanson, President of the Protezione della Giovane association, Elena Setti, President of the Hellas Verona Foundation, and Beatrice Verzè, Councilor for Equal Opportunities of the Municipality of Verona.
SERIE A 2024/25 | HELLAS VERONA-BOLOGNA & SERIE B WOMEN 2024/25 | HELLAS VERONA WOMEN – OROBICA
On the occasion of International Women’s Day on March 8, 2025, the Hellas Verona Foundation organized an initiative involving both the men’s and women’s teams. In the respective Serie A match between Hellas Verona and Bologna, and the Serie B Women’s match between Orobica and Hellas Verona Women, both teams wore special shirts featuring a patch dedicated to the occasion.
All the shirts were then auctioned on MatchWornShirt, and the proceeds were donated to the A.C.I.S.J.F. Protezione della Giovane association to support women victims of violence.
SERIE A 2025/26 | HELLAS VERONA-PARMA AND SERIE B WOMEN 2025/26 | HELLAS VERONA WOMEN-RES DONNA ROMA
On November 23, 2025, the ‘Double Header’ took place: for the first time in Italy, a men’s and a women’s first team played one after the other in the same stadium, at the Bentegodi. The team led by coach Zanetti faced Parma at 12.30 PM, while the team led by coach Bragantini played against Res Donna Roma at 2.45 PM.
The yellow-and-blue jerseys featured a special patch with the inscription Kick-Off Respect, placed on the sleeve for the men’s team and on the chest for Hellas Verona Women.
As every year, on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, the proceeds from the auction will be donated to the associations A.C.I.S.J.F. Protezione della Giovane and Centro Antiviolenza Petra.
