HELLAS VERONA TAKES THE FIELD ALONGSIDE UICI VERONA THANKS TO CMT-TRANSLATIONS

SERIE A 2024/25 | HELLAS VERONA–JUVENTUS

On the occasion of the Serie A match between Hellas Verona and Juventus, played on August 26, 2024, the Gialloblù club introduced for the first time an audio description service dedicated to blind, visually impaired, and multi-disabled fans.

The project, developed in collaboration with CMT-Translations, allowed three blind individuals from the Verona branch of the Italian Union of the Blind and Visually Impaired (UICI) to experience the match in an engaging and accessible way thanks to the ‘Connect Me Too’ software.

Using their smartphones and earphones, participants were able to listen to a live audio-descriptive commentary provided by journalist and radio speaker Enrico Boiani. His narration captured not only the action on the pitch but also the atmosphere in the stadium, creating a fully immersive experience.

Starting with the match against Empoli, Hellas Verona now offers this service at all its home games.

SERIE A ENILIVE AND COPPA ITALIA FRECCIAROSSA 2025/26

Also in the 2025/26 season, thanks to the collaboration with CMT-Translations, Hellas Verona will provide at the ‘Bentegodi’ stadium an innovative and inclusive audio description system for blind, visually impaired, and multi-disability fans.

The ‘Connect Me Too’ software, developed by CMT-Translations, will therefore allow many supporters to experience the emotions of the match in real time, in a stadium that is increasingly accessible and welcoming to everyone.
