Casa Insieme a Voi
THE PROJECT
Starting from the 2025/26 season, Hellas Verona Foundation has decided to embark on a new path, embracing a two-year project with an organization that has long provided hospitality and support to numerous families in need: the Diocesan Caritas of Verona.
The shared goal for the next two years is to restore a space at Lungadige Matteotti 8, transforming it into a new shelter for young women in difficulty – victims of violence, homeless, in precarious employment, or students facing economic hardship.
The project, supported by HV Foundation, includes renovation, furnishing, and modernization work to create welcoming and functional cohousing spaces. Caritas will also ensure an educational support program aimed at promoting autonomy and social reintegration for the residents.
The new facility will be inaugurated with a symbolic and meaningful name: Casa Insieme a Voi (‘Home Together with You’), to remind everyone that this initiative will be made possible thanks to the joint contribution of many people – and, above all, of the Gialloblù fans – who together have made a project of solidarity and hope a reality. In 2024 alone, 15% of the 3,778 families who turned to the Diocesan Caritas of Verona were experiencing housing emergencies – a figure that continues to rise due to increasing rent costs, job insecurity, and the spread of gender-based violence in the local area.
Casa Insieme a Voi will therefore represent a tangible response to these vulnerabilities — a place of rebirth and protection for those most in need.
THE PRESENTATION PRESS CONFERENCE
On Sunday, November 2, 2025, the press conference to present ‘Casa Insieme a Voi’ was held – the new project that Hellas Verona Foundation has chosen to support in collaboration with the Diocesan Caritas of Verona.
During the event, Don Matteo Malosto, Director of the Diocesan Caritas of Verona, and Irene Toniolo, Head of Youth Volunteering at Caritas, illustrated the social objectives and the educational pathway at the heart of the project. Joining them on stage were Hellas Verona Foundation President Dirk Swaneveld, Hellas Verona Executive President Italo Zanzi, the Bishop and President of the Diocesan Caritas of Verona Monsignor Domenico Pompili, and Simona Gioè, the Club’s CFO and Member of the Foundation’s Board. Also attending the event were another Foundation Board Member, Antonella Benedetti, and numerous Caritas Verona volunteers – a testament to a vibrant and engaged network of solidarity.
'Eternamente Verona' | Hellas Verona Foundation’s solidarity evening for the ‘Casa Insieme a Voi’ project held at Castel San Pietro
In the stunning setting of Castel San Pietro, with the illuminated city of Verona as a backdrop, ‘Eternamente Verona’, a charity event promoted by Hellas Verona Foundation, took place on Saturday 9 May 2026. The evening was organised to once again celebrate the values of solidarity, inclusion and closeness to the community that, for the past four years, have guided the Foundation’s commitment through support for social projects, associations and families across the Verona area.
The event brought together partners, supporters and international guests with the aim of supporting the ‘Casa Insieme a Voi’ project backed by the Club in favour of Caritas Diocesana Veronese. The project involves the redevelopment of a space on Lungadige Matteotti that will become a new shelter home for ten young women facing hardship, victims of violence, homeless women, precarious workers or students in conditions of economic vulnerability.
Representatives of Caritas Diocesana also attended, including Bishop Mons. Domenico Pompili, President of Caritas Verona, Silvia Sinibaldi, Deputy Director of Caritas Italiana, and Don Matteo Malosto, Director of Caritas Diocesana Veronese.
‘Eternamente Verona’ once again confirmed the strong bond between the Club and the local community, demonstrating how sport can become a concrete instrument of support and social inclusion. Through projects such as ‘Casa Insieme a Voi’ and the other activities promoted by the Foundation, Hellas Verona will continue supporting people and local organisations through initiatives dedicated to hospitality, inclusion and social support.
