THE PROJECT AT HELLAS STORE

This year as well, Hellas Verona Foundation renews its support for the project ‘Anch’io Sono Capace – Barrier-Free Shops‘, promoted by the Verona-based association A.S.D. La Grande Sfida APS, an organization committed to empowering people with disabilities through inclusive activities across the local area.

From March 2 to March 6, from 10 AM to 1 PM, two members of the association will be involved at the Hellas Store in Via Carlo Cattaneo, where they will support the staff with cashier duties, customer reception and warehouse management, gaining hands-on experience focused on inclusion and responsibility.

The project, traditionally scheduled in May (this year from May 11 to May 15) and supported by the Club for around three years, will feature a special March edition inspired by the values of inclusion, participation and equal opportunities promoted by the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The initiative aims to raise awareness within the community about the importance of work as a tool for growth and independence for people with disabilities, fostering an increasingly inclusive culture and engaging numerous local businesses across the Verona area.

MAY 2026

For the second time during the 2025/26 season, Hellas Verona Foundation took part in the project ‘Anch’io Sono Capace – Negozi Senza Barriere‘ (‘I Can Do It Too – Barrier-Free Shops’), promoted by the association A.S.D. La Grande Sfida APS, an organization that has long been committed to empowering people with disabilities through inclusive activities across the local community.

During this week, two young members of the association gained work experience at the Hellas Store on Via Carlo Cattaneo, supporting the staff in their daily activities, including customer service, cash register operations, and warehouse organization.

The initiative had already been carried out in March during the Paralympics, whose opening ceremony took place at the Verona Arena.
