Rachele Peretti attends the 'A Bigger Game' event promoted by Quid

Verona – Yesterday afternoon, Thursday, May 21, 'A Bigger Game' took place at the Teatro Ristori, an event promoted by Quid together with ELIS Innovation Hub, with the support of Fondazione Cariverona. The evening focused on the themes of workplace inclusion and sustainability, bringing together companies, foundations, institutions, and organizations from the third sector.

Quid is a social enterprise founded to create job opportunities, especially for women who have experienced situations of hardship or social exclusion. The project provides training and professional integration programs for people with difficult backgrounds, such as experiences of violence or imprisonment. Alongside its social impact, Quid also promotes a sustainable production model: garments and accessories are made by recovering unused fabrics from fashion industry surplus stock, transforming them into new collections through a process based on the circular economy and waste reduction. Today, around 170 people work in the social enterprise’s workshops located in Verona, Montorio, and Padua.

In addition to the captain of Hellas Verona Women, Rachele Peretti, the speakers also included Demetrio Albertini, Anna Gionfriddo, CEO of ManpowerGroup Italia and president of Junior Achievement Italia, Gianluigi De Palo, general director of Fondazione Oltre, and Fabio Brescacin, president of EcorNaturaSì.

During her speech, Peretti emphasized that cultural change must start from schools and the education of younger generations, highlighting the importance of overcoming gender distinctions in sports. The number 10 for the Gialloblù side also spoke about the value of her experience in the Hellas Verona Women locker room, explaining how welcoming and valuing diversity within a group is essential to achieving common goals, both in sports and in working life.
