Hellas Verona For Special takes part in the fifth edition of the 'Tardini For Special'

Verona – On Saturday, June 6, Hellas Verona For Special participated in the fifth edition of the 'Tardini For Special by Progetti del Cuore', one of the most important events on the national calendar dedicated to football for athletes with disabilities, organized by Parma Calcio between the Ennio Tardini Stadium and Parco Ferrari.

The event, sponsored by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC), the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI), Lega Serie A, Lega Serie B, Lega Pro, the National Amateur League (LND), the Municipality of Parma, AUSL Parma and UISP, welcomed 38 teams from across Italy and Europe, bringing together more than 1,000 athletes, coaches and staff members.

For the 2026 edition, teams were divided not by competitive level, as in previous years, but by color groups – Yellow, Blue and Orange – with Hellas Verona placed in the Orange group alongside, among others, Inter, Genoa, Cagliari, Udinese, Como and Pisa.

The day began with a Meet & Greet at the Tardini Stadium featuring Edoardo Corvi and Caterina Ambrosi, captain of Parma Women. In the afternoon, the Special teams had the opportunity to share the field with Parma Calcio Legends in football-tennis matches.

The tournament concluded with the awards ceremony. For this edition, special prizes were presented to all participating teams, including the Golden Heart Award, Fair Play Award, Never Give Up Award, Joy of Football Award, and Beyond Limits Award, recognizing not the final standings, but the values each athlete brought onto the field.

A day dedicated to sport, friendship and inclusion, experienced firsthand by Hellas Verona For Special as one of the event’s protagonists.
