Hellas Verona For Special at the second edition of the Tuscia Viterbese National Tournament

Verona - Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13 saw the second edition of the Tuscia Viterbese National Para-Football Tournament take place in Viterbo, organised by ASD Zucchero Filato APS, with around 200 athletes from across Italy taking part.

Among the teams involved were Hellas Verona For Special, along with the special teams of Juventus, Milan, Udinese, Parma, Bologna, Lecce, Lazio, Frosinone and Napoli, as well as hosts ASD Zucchero Filato and Don Pino Puglisi.

The tournament provided an important opportunity for sport, inclusion, friendship and togetherness, involving not only the athletes and staff of the participating teams, but also family members and accompanying staff.

The tournament came to an end on Sunday, September 13 with the final matches, played in a spirit of competition and enjoyment. In keeping with the spirit of the event, however, the teams were not awarded based on the final standings. Instead, the awards recognised the values at the heart of inclusive sport, including friendship, solidarity, fair play, enjoyment, inspiration and the ability to overcome one’s own limits.

It was a weekend of sport and togetherness, with Hellas Verona For Special also taking part in an event dedicated to promoting Para-Football and its ability to create opportunities for connection, participation and inclusion.
