Eternamente Verona | Hellas Verona Foundation’s Charity Event Supporting 'Casa Insieme a Voi' / VIDEO
Verona - On the evening of Saturday, May 9, in the stunning setting of Castel San Pietro, 'Eternamente Verona' took place, the charity initiative promoted by the Hellas Verona Foundation in support of the 'Casa Insieme a Voi' project, developed together with Caritas Diocesana Veronese, involving four hundred participants.
The project includes the redevelopment of a space located on Lungadige Matteotti, which will become a new accommodation facility for ten young women in vulnerable situations. The house will provide support to victims of violence, homeless women, precarious workers, and students facing economic and social difficulties.
The General Director of Hellas Verona FC and Advisor of the Hellas Verona Foundation, Simona Gioè, stated: "Eternamente Verona is not only our most important charity event of the season. It is the moment when the Hellas Verona Foundation brings together the Club, the city, and the entire community around the values we have proudly upheld for four years. Seeing four hundred people here who chose to dedicate their time and resources to support our daily work is the greatest testimony to the bond that unites us. To each of you goes my deepest gratitude. I have had the honor and responsibility of standing alongside the Foundation since its birth. I have seen it take its first steps and grow, achieving milestones that are the result of listening and the active participation of so many people. Over the years, we have learned that the most important results are achieved through consistency and transparency, by taking responsibility for every project we undertake. This commitment has allowed us to concretely help people living in suffering, and that is a source of immense pride for us. From this terrace, the view embraces all of Verona. It is to this city that Hellas Verona wants to continue giving back value, through meaningful projects like the one we embraced this year together with Caritas Verona. Completing the ‘Casa Insieme a Voi’ project is not just a goal, but a promise: to make a real difference in the lives of many young women. Let us continue writing this story of solidarity together, so that many people may smile again”.
The Executive Chairman of Hellas Verona FC, Italo Zanzi, commented: “When people ask me what Hellas Verona represents, I always use one word: family, because that is the principle that unites all of us. This evening is a wonderful example of that: many people, from Verona and abroad, have gathered to support those most in need within our family. I thank the Municipality of Verona for giving us the opportunity to hold this event in such a special place. The outcome of this initiative will provide meaningful and concrete support to many people”.
The President of the Hellas Verona Foundation, Dirk Swaneveld, added: “Thank you to everyone who attended and for supporting such an important cause. ‘Casa Insieme a Voi’ will truly make a difference in the lives of many young women, and we are very grateful for the generosity of everyone who has contributed and will continue to do so. It is wonderful to see so many people from Verona and so many arriving from abroad. In many ways, this reflects the spirit of Hellas Verona: deeply connected to this city, yet also capable of bringing together people from all over the world. I am very happy with the work done for the event and deeply grateful to everyone who helped make it possible".
The evening represented an important moment of solidarity, confirming the commitment of the Hellas Verona Foundation and Caritas Diocesana Veronese to providing concrete support to the most vulnerable people in the local community, with the goal of creating new opportunities for shelter, independence, and social inclusion.
