Save Moras

Founded by former Hellas Verona defender Vangelis Moras in memory of his brother Dimitris, Save Moras is an association active in promoting bone marrow donation and supporting those affected by oncohematological diseases. Active since 2015, it organizes awareness events, street typing campaigns and sports initiatives that involve the community-such as children’s tournaments or solidarity rallies-aiming to make the gesture of giving visible, simple and effective.

 

Among the most significant activities: the awareness day in Piazza Bra for little Alessandro Maria (2018) and the recent “In Campo x Donare” tournament in June 2025, which involved former soccer players and creators to spread the message that donating marrow “can save lives.”
