Più di un Sogno Foundation

Più di un Sogno is a foundation committed to improving the quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities and Down syndrome. It is an organization that actively engages with its reference communities by building alliances, fostering dialogue, and working closely with public institutions, the third sector, and the scientific community. Over the years, it has developed strong and lasting relationships with the business world and grant-making foundations.

Through its project ‘A scuola di futuro’ (‘Learning for the Future’), inclusion is all-round addressed, taking care of every aspect of the child’s life context: their personal vulnerabilities, family, school, and local environment, in order to offer inclusive growth opportunities to the entire educational community. The approach is innovative: starting from the fragility of children with intellectual disabilities to intervene in all areas of their lives, creating an environment that promotes integration. This shift aims to bring about inclusive dynamics in the local context by implementing tools and best practices, and fostering a shared understanding of fragility as a value for the whole community.

Thanks to the support of many friends, citizens, and donors – who have contributed ideas, suggestions, and financial support – the Foundation has been able to carry out concrete care projects, with a specific focus on the quality of life of people with intellectual disabilities, successfully continuing its mission for over ten years.
