Il Samaritano

The cooperative Il Samaritano was established in 2006 at the initiative of the Caritas Diocesana Veronese, with the aim of providing a concrete response to situations of severe marginalization. The cooperative’s services are aimed at individuals without any support network – whether familial, social, or friendly – and offer not only material aid (such as a place to sleep or a hot meal), but also a path of welcome and personal rebirth, based on the need for belonging, dignity, and redemption. Today, the cooperative manages various facilities and projects throughout the Diocese of Verona, providing support and guidance to homeless individuals (including adults, youth, and the sick), asylum seekers, refugees, and people in detention.
