Gi.A.DA.
The Gi.A.DA. Verona Association (Young Girls, Adolescents, Adult Women) is a non-profit organization founded in 2023 with the goal of promoting women’s health and well-being. It is committed to raising awareness among women about the importance of prevention, helping them to understand and face the issues that may arise at different stages of life. Through meetings, conferences, and informative activities, the association spreads knowledge on topics such as gynecology, breast health, nutrition, and cancer prevention.
In addition to its educational work, Gi.A.DA. also offers concrete support: it provides a listening and help service via phone, assists women in booking medical appointments or exams, and offers psychological support to those in difficult situations. The association’s volunteers also operate in hospitals, ensuring presence and comfort for patients. In collaboration with professionals and other local organizations, Gi.A.DA. works to build a network of solidarity and awareness in service of women’s health.
Among the services it offers are: breast surgery for the treatment of benign and malignant breast diseases, oncogenetic evaluation for women at high risk, and prophylactic surgery. In the field of gynecology, it addresses conditions such as endometriosis, ovarian and uterine tumors, menopause, fertility preservation, as well as support in couple relationships and sexuality. It also provides rehabilitation and physiotherapy, with particular attention to post-operative recovery, postural correction, and the treatment of conditions such as osteoporosis; it promotes healthy lifestyles and proper nutrition.
Finally, Gi.A.DA. organizes meetings and conferences with specialists, carries out research projects together with the Technical Scientific Committee, collaborates with other associations, and distributes informational materials to promote early diagnosis (screenings, vaccines, tests, etc.).
